This is the default search engine for Wiki.js and provides basic search capabilities out-of-the-box.
This engine is very limited (basic title + description search) and it's recommended to switch to a more capable engine if possible.
This engine has no configuration options and is selected by default when installing Wiki.js.
Setup
- In the Wiki.js administration area, click on Search Engine in the sidebar.
- Select DB - Basic as the search engine.
- Click the Apply button to save and initialize the search engine.
Note that the Rebuild Index function doesn't do anything on this engine.
